I am a board-certified OBGYN who realized early in my training that traditional Western Medicine applied Band-Aids to many of the processes in the human body that cause us not to feel well, rather than finding and treating the underlying cause.  As I wanted more ‘tools’ to help my patients feel optimal, I studied Medical Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine. My curiosity continued to grow, so I studied more.   I studied with the A4M( American Academy of Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine) when they first started their program. I learned Functional Medicine and opened this practice in 2009. I am fortunate that I still see patients who started with me in 2009. When the Global Pandemic came along, I continued to expand my learning with deeper research into my care for my patients already suffering from multiple infections from tick processes. I feel honored that my patients turned to me to keep them balanced in this time of hormonal stress, and I am lucky to have many different ways (tools) to help the human body to learn to heal itself.

My Approach is a comprehensive evaluation of lifestyle through history that leads to testing in the areas each person needs: hormones, nutrients, and when needed allergy and infectious markers are looked at.  Together, we create a way for you to achieve your best. There is no one-size-fits-all in my clinical experience, and I tailor my care for you in that way. My goal is to assist you in getting the most out of your life.
